Kirkwood’s Washington County Regional Center features innovative programming provided through partnerships with several local high schools. The unique cooperation gets high school students hands-on career experience and transferrable college credit at NO COST to their families!
The Washington County Regional Center offers students the opportunity to participate in several different Career Academy programs. These Career Academy programs are designed to give students a jump start on their college career and explore for a possible career.
Career Academies are scheduled during morning and afternoon sessions. High school students spend about half of their day at the Regional Center and the other half back at their high school.
Talk to your high school guidance counselor to see the complete Career Academy schedule and to determine which session would work best with your schedule.
